I should have done more research before I got these Merv 13 filters. The higher the Merv rating, the more small particles the filter will reduce from your air flow. This sounds great, why not, right? Not really. Most residential systems are made to use a Merv 8 or Merv 11 with Merv 8 being the most common. By using a filter rated higher than your system requires, the filter can greatly reduce the air flow causing your system to work harder and possibly cause some damage. Not such a great idea. So, I will not use these filters and therefore can not really rate them fairly.

You get a six pack of MERV 13 filters. They suck up the nasty dust particles. Not much else I can say. They do what they are suppose to do.

I like that these filters are every bit as good as the ones I get at my local HVAC store. They have the metal in them to keep the filter intact. They fit weel and work great.

Compared to the regular set of filters I get at Home Depot, I found these to be of comparable quality, and is seemingly getting the job done. Unlike the Home Depot filters however, these installed much easier. I always have to wrestle the Home Depot ones into place, whereas these just drop into place, snug and easy. I cannot say that my senses are evolved enough to discern whether it is removing more dust from the air than the previous filters I used, but I can say that it seems to be doing at least as good of a job. So if you like the price compared to the ones you are currently buying, I think these will suit you just fine.
